Different Types of Perfumes

There is no debate in saying that perfumes and colognes have a powerful impact on your personality. They do not only enhance your overall attractiveness but also boost your confidence level and make you feel fresh and decrease your stress levels.
 Everyone wants to smell good when they meet other people especially when you are around the opposite sex. But getting the right perfume for yourself is a tricky thing as there are different types of perfumes available out there which makes it extremely difficult to pick the one that matches your tastes and preferences.
If you are not pro at buying perfumes choosing the one that is appropriate for you can get very confusing as they may all look alike to you. In this article, we are shedding some light on some prominent perfume types so that next time you buy a perfume for yourself, you have more understanding of the things.

1. Eau de Perfume: 

Eau de perfumes are also sometimes listed as Parfum. These types of perfumes contain the next highest concentration of essential perfume oil i.e. 10% to almost 15% perfume essence concentration in its formulation. It has more concentration of alcohol but the scent is usually lighter and does not last long compared to other perfumes. This product lasts anywhere from 4 to 6-hours.

2. Eau de Toilette:

You might have guessed it already, Eau de perfume as a lower concentration of perfume essence compared to the above mentioned Eau de perfume. The concentration level is somewhere between 4% to 15% of the essential oils in its formulation. Owing to the low concentration of alcohol, the formula is very light and is mostly sold only in spray bottles.

3. Eau de Cologne:

This type of perfume is most common among men but a lot of female perfumes still use this designation. These types of perfumes are mostly diluted and have lower concentration levels of fragrance oil and concentration ranges somewhere between 2% to 5%.
